Congratulations to the 2018 Project SEARCH graduating class – pictured above:

(Back row, left to right) Joy Drummond, Ben Milling, Celeste Gardner, Ryan Smith.
(Front row, left to right) Johnny Engelbrecht, Annie Hetherington, Zoe Silvey, Jesse Trimbach, Zach Voigt.

In 2016, Mission Health, The Arc of North Carolina, A-B Tech, NC Vocational Rehabilitation and VAYA Health partnered with Project SEARCH to launch a program in Asheville. Since the program’s introduction to the Asheville area, Mission Health has had the pleasure of seeing two classes graduate from the program.

Through Project SEARCH, these students are able to achieve their goal of finding and securing meaningful, competitive employment by developing skills that will help them build their careers. Interns rotate through three different job sites in 10-12 week increments, so that they are able to experience different job opportunities and discover their passions and calling.

The Arc of North Carolina is proud of these graduates and excited to see what the future holds for them!

Congrats, Project SEARCH Class of 2018!
